Covid 19 Update July 2020
Micromech has remained fully operational throughout the coronavirus pandemic. Many of our staff have been working from home allowing safe social distancing within our premises. We are extremely proud of the dedication they have shown throughout this difficult period.
Throughout lockdown we have experienced little disruption in supply of products from our suppliers in the UK and overseas. In one instance were able to influence the re-opening of a motor manufacturing plant in India to produce motors for equipment used in treatment of Covid-19.
Despite relaxation in lockdown rules Micromech will continue with current working practices to ensure the on-going safety of our staff. This will continue until we feel it is completely safe for all to return to the office and social distancing is no longer necessary.
Unless absolutely necessary we continue to ask our customer and supplier representatives not to visit our premises and to conduct business via video link or telephone. Thank you for your patience.
If it is essential to visit our premises, please complete our questionnaire and wear a face covering during your visit.
If you have any questions, please contact the office and your call will be forwarded to the appropriate member of staff.

products from stores and carrying out modifications before returning
them to the shelf ready for later use in the build process. It means
stocking numerous components, additional drawings and administration,
assembly work which may contain errors and is of course expensive.
